O gets shafted.

I really feel she gets the short end of the stick and I'm trying to fix that.  When she was a baby, I had Laura to entertain.  Laura was and is a momma's girl.  She likes to be near me.  She'll do stuff on her own, but she likes me there.  Now that O is the big sister, she's still getting the shaft because Aubrielle is a fairly clingy baby.  I think that's why I tend to be easier on O right now when she does things like this.

That tends to be a bad corner of the couch for her.  Here is another example of me being busy and coming back to find her in that spot with another mess.

That would be Parmesan cheese....the whole container.  When I vacuum the room smells like parmesan cheese...still, even though we've emptied and cleaned the canister.

I think I melted today!

It was so hot!  Too hot.  I'm not a fan of the heat.  I don't like the sun.  I'm fair, I burn.  Badly.

The girls were playing in the backyard all afternoon and I hid under the trees in the shade.  Aubrielle and I hung out on a blanket and enjoyed what little breeze there was.  I think I will be spending the majority of the summer there, doing what I can to avoid a sunburn!

We had a really nice long weekend.  We went out to dinner on Friday night as a family.  Saturday morning we went out for breakfast.  You'll see a trend here, I don't think either of us wanted to cook!  We went back home after grabbing some groceries.  Couldn't get outside because it was raining all day!  The girls played very nicely together while patiently waiting for their surprise.

Aubrielle got to spend some time with Grandma and Grandpa while we took the older two out for dinner and a movie.  They had no idea.  We took them to see Shrek 4 in 3D.  Laura has been to the movies a few times, but this was OcĂ©ane's first experience and she did really well.  She took off the glasses a few times, but once I bent the arms to make them shorter they fit her better and she left them alone.  It was also Laura's first 3D movie and she really enjoyed it, didn't touch the glasses once!  If you're thinking about going to the movie, GO!, it was very funny and really cute.  We all giggled a lot!

Sunday we went to see my brother and his family.  I got to get my hands on my new niece who is just a wee little peanut!  So tiny and not at all what I am used to having my smallest at 8lbs!  She is 6.10 now, having fallen as far to 5.4.  It's like holding a little doll, but she is so much sweeter!!  I'm not sure why I didn't get my camera out!!

Here are a few of my favourite pictures from today.

National Scrapbook Day and a Tattoo?

Tomorrow is National Scrapbook Day, and to celebrate I went to a crop at Two Scrapbook Friends.  There were some challenges presented online and I completed them all.  I am a machine!

When I came home, Dan told me that he'd been talking at work with some people about tattoos.  He said if he were ever going to get one, it would be either Wolverine (because he's a geek) or something to represent the girls.  I said, "what, 3 frogs?"  He was thinking their names, but now I really wouldn't be surprised if he ended up with 3 frogs on his skin in the future.  He's always called them "grenouille" and it's the first thing that I thought of when he said, "tattoo."

Here's a few of my layouts from tonight.
